I have used a variety of media for visual storytelling for over 20 years beginning with pen and ink illustrations and film photography. I still illustrate by hand, but I also shoot digital photos, create infographics, and illustrate in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

PhotographyI have several short and long form photos series covering a variety of equine sports, people, and other topics, as well as published freelance work. I actively photograph everywhere I hike and work.
InfographicsInfographics are a great way to visually communicate complex science, data, and ideas. My work includes original vector icons, data sets, and science illustrations. Some infographics are based on new science discovery, while others cover pop culture topics.
IllustrationsI have a master's of fine art from San Diego State University and was a freelance illustrator for 10 years in Portland, Ore. Some of my natural history illustrations were published in the book "Wild in the City: A natural history guide to Portland." I work in a variety of mediums from pen and ink, scratch board, water color, and illustrate in Adobe Photoshop Illustrator.
